BOC: ISF arrest terrorist group, seize weapons

Baghdad(IraqiNews.com)-The Baghdad Operations Command announced that it has arrested a terrorist group and found different kinds of weapons, referring that two bombed houses were dismantled and arresting two other gangs, one specialized in kidnapping operation and the another is smuggling antiquities in different districts in Baghdad.

The BOC, in a statement, received by IraqiNews.com, said ”a reconnaissance regiment of the BOC has arrested a terrorist group in Al-Ghazaliya district having 34 motor bombs, grenades, communication devices, a gun silencer and other things” .

The statement continued “The first commando brigade of the BOC managed to dismantle a bomb in Al-Tarmiya district and the first brigade of the major-general 60 dismantled two houses in Al-Abid district, west of Baghdad”, adding that “a force from the fourth brigade centre has arrested a gang in kidnapping operation in Al-Mashtal district, southeast of Baghdad and the major-general 54 has arrested a gang in smuggling antiquities in Ramadan Fourteen St. in Al-Mansour district in Baghdad”./End/
