Bomb blast kills civilian, injures 3 others west of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Monday, that a civilian has been killed and three others were wounded in a bomb blast west of Baghdad.
The source, who requested anonymity, informed IraqiNews.com, “This afternoon, an IED that was emplaced under a civil vehicle went off while passing near the area of al-Nusoor in western Baghdad, resulting in the death of the driver and three others that were with him.”
The source also added, “Security forces rushed to the area of the incident and transported the injured to a nearby hospital and the dead body to the forensic medicine department.”
