2 civilians killed, child injured northern Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Two civilians were killed while child was injured when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded near a house in Beji district of northern Tikrit.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED that was emplaced near a house in Mazra’a village in Beji district went off killing two civilians and wounding a child.”

“Security force blocked the incident spot and transported the dead bodies to the morgue while the injured child was admitted to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.
