Clashes erupt between volunteer forces and ISIS militants in south of Tikrit

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Monday, Kataib Hezbollah said, that the Kataib fighters are currently clashing with ISIS elements in the last pass in the area of al-Hawi in south of Tikrit.
The Kataib said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com that, “It is currently clashing with ISIS elements in the last pass which supports the militants in the area of al-Hawi in the district of al-Ishaqi (80 km south of Tikrit),” adding that, “The clash is the fiercest today.”
