(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – A security source in Anbar said on Saturday, that the international coalition and the Iraqi artillery had bombarded ISIS targets east of Ramadi.

The source told IraqiNews.com, “Warplanes of the international coalition, along with the Iraqi Army Aviation and the army’s 8th artillery brigade, bombarded targets belonging to ISIS in Khalediya Island east of Ramadi, inflicting material and human losses upon the organization.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The bombing was based on intelligence according to information received from sources inside the ISIS-controlled areas.”
