 Coalition strike kills, wounds 41 ISIS fighters in southwest of Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – On Friday, a security source in Kirkuk province said, that 41 ISIS militants have been either killed or injured in an air strike by the coalition forces in Kirkuk.

The source, who requested anonymity, told IraqiNews.com, “This evening, unmanned aerial vehicles belonging to the international coalition bombed 5 ISIS targets including tactical sites in villages located in the district of al-Hawija (55 km southwest of Kirkuk),” pointing out that, “The aerial bombing resulted in killing around 15 ISIS elements and wounding 26 others.”

“The strikes were based on intelligence received by the coalition forces,” the source added.
