 Coalition warplanes conduct 27 airstrikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Joint Task Force announced on Sunday, that the US-led coalition warplanes conducted 27 air strikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

The Joint Task Force said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Yesterday, 26 air strikes were conducted near nine cities including Ramadi, hitting tactical units, combat sites, as well as preparation sites belonging to ISIS.”

The statement added, “12 air strikes were carried out in Mosul, destructing two tactical units and 12 combat sites.”

“The US-led coalition also carried out an air strike in Syria near al-Hawl and another air strike near al-Hasakah area, hitting a tactical unit and destructing a tunnel and a building used by ISIS,” the statement continued.
