Coalition warplanes kill 16 ISIS militants northern Tikrit

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that 16 elements of the ISIS group have been killed in an air strike by the international coalition in northern Tikrit.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “This afternoon, warplanes of the international coalition conducted an air strike against a gathering site for the ISIS group in the district of Biji, located 40 km northern Tikrit,” pointing out that, “The air strike resulted in killing 16 ISIS militants and destroying 3 armored vehicles that belonged to the group.”

“The operation was based on accurate information that was received by the international coalition,” the source added.
