Coalition warplanes kill 35 ISIS militants in southwest of Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a security source in Kirkuk province said, that the international coalition warplanes have killed 35 ISIS militants in an air strike on ISIS sites in southwest of the province.

The source informed IraqiNews, “Yesterday evening, warplanes of the international coalition against ISIS have gone in an air strike on ISIS sites in al-Bakara base and other locations in central Hawija, located 55 southwest of Kirkuk,” pointing out that, “The air strike resulted in killing more than 35 ISIS fighters, including elements of Arab nationals.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “Many families from the residents of al-Hawija have left their homes and moved to the villages in the outskirts of the district due to the intensive air bombings.”
