(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A local source in Nineveh Province said on Sunday, that the so-called military commander of Wilayat Nineveh and eight leaders of ISIS had been killed in an airstrike by the international coalition aviation south of the province.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “In the late hours of yesterday, the international coalition aviation bombarded a headquarters belonging to ISIS in the district of Hamam al-Alil (35 km south of Nineveh),” pointing out that, “The bombing resulted in the death of the military commander of Wilayat Nineveh Abu Majd al-Kanani, who was a Saudi national, along with eight leaders, most of whom were Saudis.”
