Curfew lifted in Ramadi, says Anbar Council
Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, Anbar Provincial Council announced, that the comprehensive curfew that had been imposed for five days on the city of Ramadi, was lifted today.
Member of Anbar Provincial Council, Azal Obeid, stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “The security authorities have decided to lift the curfew that lasted for five days in Ramadi on the back of violent clashes between the security forces and ISIS militants in different areas of the city.”
“Life has come back to normal in the market areas of the city,” he added.
