(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar –Federal police captain Lt. Gen. Raed Shaker Jawdat on Thursday announced that the Federal Police forces have not only managed to gun down four ISIS members during military operations in Fallujah city, but have also successfully liberated five villages to the north of the city.

Jawdat, in a statement issued to the media and also obtained by IraqiNews.com said, “The Federal police successfully liberated five villages- al-Salam, al-Gouza, Abu Gaza, Hussa and Khitla,” further adding, “The forces detonated 30 explosive devices and four booby-trap vehicles during the operations.”

He added, “The Federal Police managed to kill four ISIS members during their advance into the axis of the river towards the center of Fallujah.”
