AM General supplies Iraq with Humvee vehicles worth $32 million

(IraqiNews.com) US Department of Defense announced Monday, that the American company ‘AM General’ has been awarded a $32 million-worth contract to supply Iraq with 160 multitasking Humvee vehicles.

The ministry said in a statement posted on its website,”AM General has got a $32 million contract of military sales to Iraq,” indicating that, “The contract includes supplying Iraq with 160 M1151A1B1 Humvees for transport and multiple military tasks.”

According to the US Department of Defense website, the contract will be performed in South Bend in Indiana and is to expire on June 12, 2015.”
