Gunmen steal 8.5 kg of gold in central Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Tuesday, a security source in the Iraqi police revealed, that a group of gunmen stole about 8.5 kilograms of gold in central Baghdad.
The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Last night, a group of gunmen wearing military uniforms stole 8.5 kilograms of gold from a number of shops in al-Nahr Street in central Baghdad.”
The source added, “A security force cordoned off the incident area and carried out a raid to search for the criminals.”
