High rank police officer killed northern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A General within the Iraqi police was killed when four car bombs exploded in central Beiji district of northern Tikrit city on Friday, security source reported to IraqiNews.com.

The source added “A General within the Police Quick Response Force was killed while 12 soldiers were injured among them some officers when four car bombs exploded targeting security forces in Industrial Neighborhood of central Beiji.”

“Suicide bombers were driving the car bombs,” the source concluded. /End/
