IA foils suicide attacks on military headquarters eastern Ramadi

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a security source in Anbar province said, that seven ISIS elements have been killed while attempting to carry out suicide attacks on a military headquarters in eastern Ramadi.

The source told interview, “This afternoon, seven suicidal elements of the ISIS group driving seven vehicles attacked the headquarters of the Army’s 2nd Brigade near the Japanese Bridge, located in eastern Ramadi,” pointing out that, “Army forces, stationed in the headquarters, began to open fire on the vehicles to prevent them from reaching their targets.”

“The clashes resulted in killing the seven elements and destroying their vehicles,” the source confirmed.
