Internal intelligence arrests kidnapper gang in eastern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, a security source in Baghdad announced, that the internal intelligence arrested a kidnapping gang in eastern Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Internal intelligence in cooperation with the security services arrested this morning a kidnapper gang in al-Baladeyat area east of Baghdad.”

The source, who requested anonymity, said, “The detainees were moved to the nearest security station for interrogation.”

Noteworthy, Baghdad Operations Command confirmed on December 6, 2014 that there is a decrease in kidnappings to a very large margin, and attributed this to the double effort of the security forces to curb such operations.
