Iraqi forces arrest Sunni cleric in Samarra, Salahuddin

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a security source in Salahuddin province stated that the Iraqi security forces arrested one of the Sunni clerics in Samarra, Salahuddin.

The source informed IraqiNews, “A military force blockaded the house of sheikh Sajid Khudair Samarrai who is one of the Sunni clerics in the city of Samarra, 40 km south of Tikrit. The force had taken him to an unknown location, and the reason behind the arrest remains unknown.”
