Anbar liberation operations begin says Prime Minister’s Information Office

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad- Iraqi Joint Command announced on Tuesday the start of Anbar liberation process.
Information Office of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Joint Command of the Iraqi forces announces the start of liberalization of Anbar province, including its capital Ramadi city, from the control of ISIS.”
“Iraqi forces are still cleansing the areas surrounding Baiji city, north of Tikrit, which contains one of the largest oil refineries in the country,” Information Office added.
On Monday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi vowed to liberate the city of Ramadi from ISIS control within days.
