Iraqi joint force seizes cache of weapons in eastern Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Tuesday, that a joint force had seized a store of weapons in eastern the capital Baghdad.
The source said in a brief statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “A joint force belonging to Baghdad Police Command and Baghdad Intelligence had managed to find a cache of weapons containing rockets and explosive devices inside a field in the area of al-Nahruwan in eastern Baghdad.”
The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The cache’s content were transferred to a police station.”
