(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Saturday the president of Khalidiya Council in Anbar province, Ali Dawood, announced the liberation of a police station from the control of ISIS north of the city of Ramadi, pointing out that the security forces have gained full control over the police station.

Dawood said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A force from Anbar operations led by operations commander Maj. Gen. Qassim Mohammadi was able to liberate al-Walaa police station in Albo Dyab area north of the city of Ramadi.”

Dawood added, “The security forces have progressed in the liberation of city of Ramadi,” pointing out that “the security forces have full control over the police station and had made security fortifications around it.”
