(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk province announced on Tuesday, that the ISIS militants abducted 25 people on charges of cooperating with the security forces in the district of al-Hawija.

The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “Today, ISIS militants kidnapped 25 civilians from the village of Shaut and Haot in the district of Hawija (55 km southwest of Kirkuk),” noting that, “Seven former members of al-Sahwa forces were among the kidnapped.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “The abduction was on the pretext that they were cooperating with the security agencies.”
