Video: ISIS captures American airdropped weapons

(IraqiNews.com) A new video by ISIS shows its possession of an American bundle of weapons it claims was ‘accidentally’ airdropped into a territory the group controls. The weapons were meant for the Kurds to use in their attacks against the Islamic extremist group.

The video, titled “Weapons and munitions dropped by American planes and landed in the areas controlled by the Islamic State in Kobani”, was posted on both an ISIS-related Youtube channel and a Twitter account named ‘A3maq News’.

On the other hand, the White House Deputy National Security Advisor, Ben Rhodes, demonstrated the US’ certainty that the supplies fell into the right hands. In his own words to CNN: “We feel very confident that when we air drop support as we did into Kobani, we’ve been able to hit the target in terms of reaching the people we want to reach.”
