(IraqiNews.com) Anbar Provincial Council member Khalaf Trmoz announced on Wednesday, ISIS control over Albu Ghanem area east of Ramadi, and stated that its elements have trapped hundreds of families, following al-Hashd al-Sha’bi withdrawal from the region.

Trmoz said in an interview with IraqiNews.com, “ISIS elements managed to impose control over Albu Ghanem area east of Ramadi, and trapped hundreds of families within the region,” noting that, “This happened due to the lack of arms and the tribal fighters running out of ammunition, as well as al-Hashd al-Sha’bi forces withdrawing from the region.”

Trmoz, a tribal leader of Albu Ghanem and Albu Marai, held Anbar police Chief Maj. Gen. Kazim Fahdawi responsible because of his poor management and not providing the tribal fighters with enough weapons and gear.
