(IraqiNews.com) BAGHDAD- US Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday said that in the recent times ISIS has been pushed back from almost half of Iraq.

While speaking at the international donor conference held in Washington, Kerry said, “The progress that we are making in Iraq has contributed in restoring a lot of Iraqi territory. But we cannot underestimate the threat posed by the ISIS. The organization has been pushed back from half of the areas in Iraq which it has been controlling since long.”

“The battle has not finished yet and the terrorist threat still lingers on,” Kerry added.
