ISIS imposes Afghan uniforms on students in Kirkuk
(IraqiNews.com) On Monday, Local source in Kirkuk revealed that, the ISIS organization informed the school administrations of the need for students and the teaching staff to commit to the Afghan uniform and vowed sanctions for the violators, calling the parents to use the “Islamic currency” southwest of the province.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Today, ISIS militants told school administrators and students in Hawija in the south-west of Kirkuk about the need to apply Afghan uniforms of specific colors, which will be circulated by the organization on school administrations later,” adding that, “The terrorist organization called schools and all departments cadres to apply the uniforms and vowed penalties for the violators.”
The source, who requested anonymity, added, “ISIS asked the families to provide gold and silver for the tax collectors for the purpose of contributing to the minting of ISIS currency, which will be issued by ISIS for trading.”
