ISIS imposes royalties on shopkeepers in Fallujah

(IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, according to a security source in Anbar police headquarters, criminal groups of the ISIS organization imposed mandatory royalties on shopkeepers in the city of Fallujah.

The source said in interview for IraqiNews.com, “The criminal elements of ISIS imposed royalties on the shop owners in the city of Fallujah, where elements of the so-called Al Hasakah imposed an amount of 50,000 dinars for every shop in the city.”

The source added, “The ISIS elements are also forcing women to wear the veil, while they punish all the smokers with jail and whipping in front of people of the city in yards allocated for this purpose.”
