Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, ISIS militants kidnapped 30 people from al-jabour tribe in north of Biji, according to Taha al-Banian, one of the leaders of the tribe.

Al-Banian informed IraqiNews in an interview, “The ISIS militants kidnapped 30 young men from al-Jabour tribe in al-Zawya area, located north of Biji. They raided their homes and drove them to an unknown location.”

He added, “ISIS is trying to put intense pressure on the people of Salahuddin by displacing them and kidnapping members of the tribe that support the Iraqi security forces. The group is feeling fear from the forces advancing towards north of Biji and that’s why it detained people from al-Jabouri tribe.”
