ISIS kidnapps 28 policemen, executes 3 in Baghdadi

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A security source in Anbar province announced Sunday, that the ISIS militants have kidnapped 28 members of the local police in Baghdadi district west of the province, and executed three of them by firing squad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “ISIS elements kidnapped 28 policemen in Baghdadi district (90 km west of Ramadi),” noting that, “Three of them, including a traffic officer, were executed by firing squad.

“ISIS dragged the rest of the abducted to its own headquarters in Hit district west of Ramadi,” it added.

Anbar Provincial Council announced on Saturday (February 15, 2015) that the security forces, tribesmen and volunteer fighters regained control over al-Baghdadi west of Ramadi, except for some parts, while warned that the ISIS group is massing for new attacks.
