Islamic State attacks civilians with Katyusha rockets in Haditha

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) Intelligence Director of al-Somoud Brigade in Haditha, Captain Najim al-Jaghifi announced on Sunday, that the Islamic State group attacked civilians with Katyusha rockets in Haditha District, in western the province.
Jaghifi said in a press statement, “Today, Islamic State group bombed al-Haqlaniyah area in Haditha District, using Katyusha rockets,” adding that, “The rockets fell in different areas of the neighborhood.”
“The shelling resulted in the wounding of seven persons, including women and children,” Jaghifi explained. “The group shelled Haditha from the western desert of the district,” he further added.
Noteworthy, Haditha District is occasionally shelled and attacked by the Islamic State since June 2014.
