Justice Ministry’s violence’s casualties rise to 44 killed, injured

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Suzan al-Saad of Fadhila Party to which the Justice Minister, Hassan al-Shimari belongs, announced that the casualties of the Justice Ministry’s violence events that took place on Thursday hit (44) deaths and injuries.

Saad told Iraqi News on Thursday “The violence events that took place at the Justice Ministry’s headquarter led to 9 deaths and 35 injuries,” noting “Gunmen dressed into police uniform stormed the ministry’s building and opened fire killing the ministry’s employees.”

“We were also informed that the ground floor of the ministry was semi-destroyed in full,” she added.
