(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The president of Khalidiya council in Anbar province Ali Daoud announced on Sunday, that 20 senior leaders in the ISIS organization were killed in an aerial bombardment east of the city of Ramadi.

Daoud said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The Iraqi army aviation was able today to bomb a gathering of ISIS senior leaders inside a house in al-bobali area in Khalidiya Island (23 km east of Ramadi).”

Daoud added that “the bombing resulted in the killing of 20 senior leaders, as well as causing great material and human losses,” pointing out that “the leaders were planning for terrorist operations during Eid.”
