Large number of ISIS militants killed in an air-ground operation in Fallujah

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday the provincial council of Ameryet Al-Fallujah announced that the US-led coalition carried out an air strike in accordance with Iraqi Air Force as well as combat troops on the ground against ISIS locations in Fallujah.

Shaker Mahmoud, the head of the council stated for IraqiNews, “The international coalition conducted an air strike against several ISIS shelters, located in the outskirts of Ameryet Sl-Fallujah, 23 km south of Fallujah. A large number of ISIS militants were killed and a big amount of weapons, ammunition and gear were either seized or destroyed during the operation.”
