Military operations begin in 4 Iraqi provinces against Al-Qaeda

Dhi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) Rafidain Operations Command declared implementing military operations in four provinces to the south of Iraq in coincide with the security operations launched at the desert of Anbar province to chase terrorists and Al-Qaeda shelters.

Source within Rafidain Operations Command reported to the correspondent of IraqiNews.com ”The military operation, which will witness the participation of various security forces and intelligence elements, will be applied in Dhi-Qar, Maysan, Muthana and Wasit provinces.”

”The military operations are aim at chasing armed groups and Qaeda elements,” the source added.The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, announced launching a military operation in Anbar province named (The revenge for the Commander Mohamed) after the Commander of the 7th Division Mohamed al-Karawi, who was killed while chasing terrorists, in Anbar province. \END\
