MoD: Army forces kill 54 terrorists in Anbar

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Defense announced Monday, that 54 ISIS elements, including 3 senior leaders, have been killed in operations by the army forces in al-Anbar province.
The ministry said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews, “Based on accurate intelligence received by Anbar Operations Command, security forces have managed to kill 50 terrorists, including 3 top leaders, among which was one identified as Ismail Walid in the area of Albu-Hais,” pointing out that, “The terrorists were meeting in Albu-Hais area near the communications tower.”
“In al-Haiytaween area, Iraqi forces burned one of the houses and killed 4 terrorists who were hiding in it,” the statement added.
