(IraqiNews.com) BAGHDAD – Brett Mcgurk, US Presidential envoy to the International Alliance against ISIS, announced on Thursday that Mosul’s liberation from ISIS grip is near.

“Liberalization of Mosul is now an achievable goal and it must be carefully prepared,” McGurk confirmed this in front of around thirty (30) Defense and Foreign Ministers during a meeting in Washington DC, which was convened to discuss the war against ISIS.

“Detailed planning has begun so as to ensure that the relief organizations move quickly to provide food, shelter and other means of assistance to nearly one million people living in the city under ISIS control,” McGurk concluded.
