Obeidi: More troops to join Nineveh liberation operation

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Wednesday, Iraqi Minister of Defense affirmed, that more security forces will join the liberation operation of Nineveh, while pointed out that the Peshmerga will only support the security forces.
Obeidi said during a press conference in Makhmur District followed by IraqiNews.com, “The morale of the fighters in Nineveh liberation operation is high,” pointing out that, “A field hospital was established in the battlefield.”
The Defense Minister added that the role of al-Hashd al-Asha’ri is very important in the operation, while expressed his willingness to provide the needed support in this battle.
“We are trying to reinforce the troops to liberate Nineveh. More security forces from Nineveh police and Federal Police will join the liberation operation,” Obeidi continued.
