One person killed, 3 injured in car bombing south of the capital

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, Baghdad Operations Command announced that one person was killed and three others were wounded in a car bombing south of the capital.

Spokesman of operations Brigadier Saad Maan said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A car bomb exploded today in the industrial district in Mahmudiya, south of Baghdad, killing one citizen and wounding three others.”

“Security force cordoned off the scene, while the injured were taken to a nearby hospital and the dead body to the Forensic Medicine Department,” Maan added.
