9 persons killed, injured due to mortar shell in Sulaimaniya

Sulaimaniya (IraqiNews.com) Nine persons were killed and wounded on Tuesday when mortars fell on a house in a village in Sulaimaniya.

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUK website quoted medical source in Sulaimaniya as saying “Mortars fell on a house in Sireen village resulted in killing two people and injuring seven others.”

For his part, source at Mines Department in Sulaimaniya stressed that the incident took place following the explosion of mortar shell inside the house.
