Plane carrying parliamentary speaker and Kuwaiti ambassador to Khanaqin hit by 2 thunderbolts

 

(IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a source at the Parliament announced that 2 thunderbolts struck the plane which was carrying the President of the House of Representatives Salim al Jabouri, the parliamentary delegation and the Kuwaiti Ambassador.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The plane carrying the President of the House of Representatives, Salim al-Jabouri, the parliamentary delegation and the Kuwaiti Ambassador, and was heading for camps for emigrants in Khanaqin, was hit by 2 thunderbolts.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The thunderbolts did not result in any loss or damage to the delegation or the plane.”
