Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) A police officer was assassinated in southern Kirkuk.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting a police major in Domeez area of southern Kirkuk, killing him immediately.”

“The security forces hurried the attack vicinity and transferred the body to the morgue,” the source concluded.
