Robbery attempt foiled in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The police patrols managed to foil a house robbery attempt and arrested the thieves in Filistine Street of central Baghdad.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”While the police patrols were regularly roaming in the area, a civilian asked their help and informed them about two persons in suspicious situation,” noting that “The police headed immediately towards the citizen’s house.””The two persons started to run when they saw the police who chased them through the narrow streets to finally arrest them,” the source added.”The police seized a knife, two gloves and plastic wires in the possession of the detainees,” noting that “The thieves admitted thier intention to rob the house of the civilian and they escaped when they heard the police siren,” the source mentioned.The source concluded by saying that ”The detainees were delivered to the concerned authorities to get their fair punishment.” \
