Security forces kill 25 ISIS militants in Tikrit

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) A security source in Salahuddin Operations Command announced Saturday, that 25 ISIS militants were killed while attempting to escape from the city of Tikrit.
The source informed IraqiNews, “Security forces, with support from Abrams tanks’ battalion, have managed to kill 25 elements of the ISIS group while attempting to escape from the city of Tikrit.”
The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The militants were heading to the area of al-Jazirah, located near the Tikrit-Anbar border.”
