Security forces kill large number of terrorists in al-Karma area

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Baghdad Operations Command announced Sunday, that the Iraqi forces managed to kill a large number of terrorists in the operation to retake the area of al-Karma.
Baghdad Operations said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Army forces backed by police elements and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia fighters, with support from the Iraqi Air Force and the international coalition warplanes, have managed to kill a large number of terrorists, including a group of snipers, in addition to dismantling 5 improvised explosive devices and the treatment of 3 booby-trapped houses in the area of al-Karma, as part of the operation ‘Fajr al-Karma’.”
The district of al-Karma is located 53 km east of Ramadi.
