Security forces repel ISIS attack on Dujail district, Army Aviation kills 22 ISIS elements

(IraqiNews.com) Khazraj tribe in the district of Dujail announced on Wednesday, that the security forces were able to repel a violent ISIS attack on the district, noting that the Army Aviation managed to kill 22 militants during the attack.
The leader of Khazraj tribe Qais Jassim al-Khazraji informed IraqiNews.com, “The security forces backed by the Army Aviation were able to repel a violent ISIS attack on Dujail district (120 km south of Tikrit),” noting that, “The Aviation bombed a number of gatherings for ISIS elements on the outskirts of the district, killing 22 of them and burning 46 vehicles.”
Khazraji called for liberating the areas located on the outskirts of Dujail in Anbar province, which extend, stressing the importance of sending reinforcements of weapons and gear to the tribal fighters.
The security committee in the House of Salahuddin province announced last night an ISIS attack on Dujail from several directions.
