Security forces stand on the outskirts of Anbar University, says Anbar police chief

(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, Anbar police chief announced, that the security forces backed by volunteer fighters are standing on the outskirts of Anbar University in the city of Ramadi.

Anbar police chief, Hady Ruzij, said in a press conference held in al-Habaniyah base in Anbar province and attended by IraqiNews.com, “Al-Hashed al-Sha’bi forces managed to fully liberate the area of al-Ankoor and advance 35 kilometers,” adding that, “The security forces with support from al-Hashed al-Sha’bi are currently standing on the outskirts on Anbar University.”

“A joint force will be formed from the police and the best elements to strike ISIS,” he added.
