Suicide bomber detonates bomb against security elements in southeast of Tikrit

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – A security source in Salahuddin province said Thursday, that a suicide bombing had left a number of casualties among security elements in southeast of Tikrit.
The source informed IraqiNews, “Today, a suicide bomber detonated his car bomb targeting a gathering site for the security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia fighters near al-Ajil oil field in northeast of Tikrit,” pointing out that, “The explosion had left an unknown number of casualties.”
“A security force blockaded the area of the incident and transferred the dead to the Forensic Medicine Authority and the injured to a near hospital for medical treatment,” the source added.
