Tens of ISIS militants killed in ground-air offensive operation in southwest of Biji

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a source within the police force in Salahuddin stated that the security forces managed to liberate the district located in southwest of Biji city and kill tens of ISIS militants in an ground-air operation.

The source informed IraqiNews, “Army forces and S.W.A.T forces managed to attack the ISIS shelter located in the industrial area in the southwest of Biji. The offensive operation resulted in killing tens of ISIS militants who had no chance of resistance. The operation was based on intelligence received from reliable sources and conducted with cooperation between joint combat forces on the ground and Iraqi fighter jets.”
