Urgent – Nineveh Police Commander survives assassination attempt in western Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Commander of Nineveh Police, Brigadier, Khalid al-Hamdani, survived assassination attempt in western Mosul on Thursday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “An Improvised Explosive Device exploded targeting Hamdani’s motorcade near Harada village.”

“Unidentified gunmen attacked the motorcade after the explosion killing one of his guards and injuring two others,” the source concluded.
