Urgent…Official survives assassination in eastern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A Key official within the Political Prisoners Establishment attributed to the Council of Ministers survived assassination when an Adhesive Explosive Device attached to her vehicle went off in eastern Baghdad on Monday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The AED went off injuring three employees of the PPE were accompanying her,” noting that “The official did not undergo any injury.”

“The explosion resulted in material damages to the vehicle for receiving medical treatment,” the source concluded.
